State Agencies and Accreditation

Wyoming Department of Health: Developmental Disabilities Section - The Developmental Disabilities Section oversees home and community based waiver services (HCBS) programs for people with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. 

The Protection and Advocacy System for the State of Wyoming - Protection & Advocacy System, Inc. established in 1977, is a nonprofit corporation authorized by Congress to implement several federal laws to protect the human, civil and legal rights of people with disabilities, including veterans with disabilities. Protection & Advocacy System, Inc. has federal authority to gain access to facilities, records, and persons to investigate allegations of abuse and neglect. Protection & Advocacy System, Inc. also helps people obtain state and federally funded services, such as vocational rehabilitation, mental health, intellectual, traumatic brain injury, assistive technology devices and services, other disability services, voting rights, and access to facilities and programs.

Wyoming Department of Family Services - The Department of Family Services promotes the safety, well-being and self-sufficiency of families through community partnerships.

CARF International - Through accreditation, CARF assists service providers in improving the quality of their services, demonstrating value, and meeting internationally recognized organizational and program standards.
